Hard to convince the "serious" readers that graphic novels can be worth reading. I always recommend this with 'Persepolis' and 'American Born Chinese' and Spiegelman's 'In the Shadow of No Towers' a 9/11 book. ‘Maus’ is truly one of the best Holocaust books I’ve read.
